My client is into Transmission and Distribution business which is also related to the design and delivery of power systems in the UK and overseas.

To complete the team it needs the best of the best, special and hard to find people i.e. a Manager for Transmission & Distribution role which is going to be based in Dubai.

We are looking for a person who has top level understanding of projects involving equipment such as Sub Stations, overhead lines and other transmission systems.

The general management role in Dubai will be the leader of our clients Transmission and Distribution business for this location. You will be report to the regional manager who is based in Abu Dhabi. Candidates will be involved in all aspects of operational management of the branch but will also be responsible for tendering and contract negotiation.

Job description

Our Clients Transmission & Distribution Division provides comprehensive expert services to its clients related to the design and delivery of power systems in the UK and overseas. Our Middle East business has been active for many years and has been involved in some of the most prestigious projects in the region.

Candidate specification

Candidates will need to be qualified to degree level in a relevant discipline as a pre-requisite. You will have significant experience in the energy sector which will have been gained in either Transmission and Distribution or possibly Power Generation. You will need to be able to demonstrate a top level understanding of projects involving equipment such as Sub Stations, overhead lines and other transmission systems. You should also have significant experience of face to face client roles and the financial management of large scale projects. A high level of fluency in English is required at both a technical and a commercial level. Previous experience in the region would be advantageous but not essential if the candidate has worked overseas.
