What type of job are you looking for?

Senior Software Engineer. I'd prefer role which deals with working directly with clients, understanding the requirements, working on High Level designs.

Indian

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

English. I'm proficient in English.

UK, Singapore, India

What countries have you worked in?

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

I don't have any visa.

What field do you currently work in?

Non life Insurance project with an US client

What fields have you worked in before?

Life Insurance with a Japanese Client

What qualifications do you hold?

B.E in Electronics and Communication

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Skills. That will help me understand real time scenarions and will give me confidence to deal with them. Formal Education no doubt, gives one a basic understanding, but at this point of my career skills will help me get thing done in real time scenarios.

Describe the benefits of working with others

We get a variety of ideas from different people, and hence working with different people helps one to understand a different approach towards same problem.

Describe the benefits of working alone

When we work alone and get stuck up with something, we do lot many trials to sort out the problem. And once we sort out that problem after doing long analysis, the approach will always be in mind... Moreover, during analysis we come across many things which otherwise would have been ignored.

What was your worst working experience?

As of now, I did not have any severe working experience. There were challenges but they were taken care of very professionally.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

Being flexible with the nature of work, yields an added advantage to one's career and keeps you above peer group. I have experienced this very closely and have understood that every work has something to contribute to your learning.

What unique skills do you have?

I am confident enough to plunge into an ongoing release or project and in very less time I become capable of understanding the requirements and can take up the entire thing without any external help.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

My dream job is to visit client teams, understand the requirements of their products and get new projects in India and get them done with best quality.
