That commitment continues today with a translational research portfolio of £192 million and a teaching programme attracting students from over 50 countries. The Maternal & Newborn Health Unit is a multi-national, multi-disciplinary team who work in genuine partnership with governments and other stakeholders. We offer unique expertise using the rigorous discipline of research to inform, teaching and technical assistance programmes to improve the health of mothers and babies globally.
