Kuwait - My family is hoping to move to the country in the near future and would like to work whilst there, in order to help support my family. What countries have you worked in? Only the UK What field do you currently work in? Presently working within a private hospital setting and have also worked within the NHS. Also currently volunteer, teaching an English Class and also arranging events and entertainments. What fields have you worked in before? Medical, solicitors, GP. What qualifications do you hold? An AMSPAR Diploma (Medical Secretarial Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I believe that both are important although I feel working "on the job" and gaining experienced skills is highly important due to getting to know the way people interact with each other, get on with each other, and work and feel comfortable around each other, helping others where help is needed etc. Describe the benefits of working with others The benefits of working with others is that people can get to know each other's skills, way of communicating better with each other, working as a team and co-operating with each other and trying to do their best at all times. Describe the benefits of working alone The benefits of working alone is that you can be self-motivated in your duties and you can push yourself to the maximum amount of effort you can make within your work place. You can concentrate better on occasions when there are no interruptions from other employees. What was your worst working experience? I haven't had a bad working experience, other than sometimes when I have found that work has not challenged me enough when the work load has been quiet. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? To be hard working, helpful towards others, honest and trustworthy and to ask questions when necessary. What unique skills do you have? I feel that I can offer myself as a very hard working, kind, caring and considerate person to all kinds of people, at all levels. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? I would like to run my own Medical Secretarial/PA Business, keeping all patients and consultants happy with all aspects of my work. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Helping people, being kind and considerate to patients, reassuring people and solving problems and issues which people may have.
