What type of job are you looking for?

I am looking for a vacancy on jobs related in pipefitting.

What nationality are you?

I am a Filipino

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

I can speak the Filipino and English language well.

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

i am interested in working somewher in Europe or in the United States. I want to experience different cultures as I earn money for my family specially for the education of my three kids.

What countries have you worked in?

i have worked in the oil fields in the Middle East. I have also worked in Texas, Malaysia and Taiwan

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

As of now, I am working in Qatar but my contract is aboput to end in a month.

What field do you currently work in?

I am a pipefitter foreman in an oil filed here in Qatar

What fields have you worked in before?

oil fields mostly

What qualifications do you hold?

I am a graduate of a two year course in Agriculture. I also took a short course as a pipefitter.I have also attended various seminars and trainings on work related issues like safety in work.

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

I value skills more than formal education.I have learned a lot on the work field.But this does not mean that we can set aside the importance of formal education because this wil serve as a foundation of what you are about to learn once you join a certain workforce.

Describe the benefits of working with others

Working with others have been found to be very beneficial. You can share your expertise with your fellow workers and this will make the job easily done.

Describe the benefits of working alone

There are times one wants to work alone and apply whatever procedure he thinks will make his job well done. there are times you can focus more on your work when nobody is watching your back.

What was your worst working experience?

For me, there are no such things as worst working experience. every problem you encounter whether in life or at workl should be consider as an opportunity to grow not only as a worker but as a complete person as well. With sheer determination,complete focus on responsibilities coupled with prayers, I have never encountered any accident at work

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

Complete faith in God and loyalty to one'e employer will take you places.

What unique skills do you have?

Interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to different types of personality.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

Being a foreman, which I am now in my present work, I think is a dream job. It gives me better opportunity to share what I know with the men I work with.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

Being able to help provide oil to the different countries who need oil for their daily needs make this job interesting.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

The least interesting aspect, I think, is being sorrounded with pipes most of the time.

Are you willing to work anywhere?

Yes, I am.As I've said earlier, I want to experience different cultures as I earn money for my family. This way, I learn a lot without paying tuition fees.
