A job on a farm.

South African

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

English - very good level Afrikaans - very good level

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

South America, especially Uruguay. Love the land and would love to be on a farm there.

What countries have you worked in?

None.

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

None.

What field do you currently work in?

Retail - book industry.

What fields have you worked in before?

Sport, education, food.

What qualifications do you hold?

Partly completed post grad studies in sport and exercise technology and law.

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Skills should be the result of formal education, thus from both sides viewed, skills!

Describe the benefits of working with others

Mingling of ideas. Relationships. Making job a lifestyle, rather than an occupation.

Describe the benefits of working alone

Fulfilling your own purpose and destiny. Applying only your vision to the work, making it more precise.

What was your worst working experience?

The death of an employer.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

No substitute for quality.

What unique skills do you have?

Brilliant intellect and people knowledge.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

Farm owner.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

Diverse literature and contact with many people.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

Repetition. Working hours.

Why would someone go from South Africa to South America to be on a farm?

I love the sun on my back and the soil beneath my feet.
