I have always wanted to travel to South America, but would prefer to work somewhere like Uruguay which is a beautiful, smaller country and needs my expertise. What countries have you worked in? Formal education or skills and why? Skills. Formal Education , of course, is valuable and necessary in certain fields, but not everyone can afford Tertiary Education. Therefor skills are important, especially as they enable a person to start working as soon as possible after finishing school and so building a career. Describe the benefits of working with others Encouragement from colleagues, exchange of knowledge and experience, motivation. Describe the benefits of working alone Developing self- determination and discipline, working at own speed, individual growth. What was your worst working experience? Restaurant manager in Johannesburg. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? To believe in myself, to acknowledge what I am good at and admit where there is room for improvement. What unique skills do you have? Ability to develop rapport with people of all cultures and ages. I am a good, creative teacher. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Teaching English at an Institution where the student is placed above profit and the teachers are valued and encouraged. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Seeing how students acquire new skills and gain confidence in themselves and their ability to communicate.
