(Director) What fields have you worked in before? Since 1983 teaching EFL/ESL Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Both are necessary. To learn is a process and to put what you have learnt is also process to become good at your craft.. Describe the benefits of working with others I consider myself a team player and I enjoy working with other teachers and admin staff as well. I think that communication is a key factor in this industry. Describe the benefits of working alone Working alone can help you get organised and plan for what you will do with others. What was your worst working experience? Being laid off. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? I have learnt that I always learn from everyone if I keep an open mind,am flexible and respectful towards other co-workers and students. What unique skills do you have? I am punctual,reliable and as mentioned before a team player. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? To be a director in my field in Uruguay. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? You meet new people and have a chance to interact with other students from different parts of the world. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? The paper work. Why do you want to work in Uruguay? I miss Uruguay very much and I feel that all the expertise I have gathered in Canada could help young English teachers in Uruguay.
