What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

Vanuatu, I love the people of Vanuatu and want to bring my family up in an environment where people are full of the island Spirit.

What countries have you worked in?

Vanuatu, America, Iraq, Kuwait, Australia

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

Currently America, but have travel visa to Vanuatu and Australia.

What field do you currently work in?

Management/Military

What fields have you worked in before?

Education, Military, Construction, Postal

What qualifications do you hold?

High school diploma from Timpview High School in Provo, UT A.S. degree in Business from Utah Valley University in Orem, UT Currently 21 semesters hours away from a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Charter Oak State College in New Jersy U.S. Department of Defense Secret security clearance Sergeant of Marines in the U.S. Marine Corps with four years of military experience from 2003-2007

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

A combination of both. Formal education is essential no matter the level, but it will not always translate into results if equivalent skills aren't coupled with them. Example you can learn about how to fix an engine, but until you've done it you don't have complete knowledge as to how to accomplish the mission.

Describe the benefits of working with others

An average team can accomplish more then a great individual. A team will divide the workload, decreasing not only the time it takes to complete a task through specialization but also creating an energy. This energy found in a team-centric environment motives the team members to be more effective and efficient. When you have there back and they have yours, "impossible is nothing."

Describe the benefits of working alone

Working alone can, in certain situations, produce a more effective and efficient outcome on a particular task. If you allow your employees to work with little or no constraints other then constraints like mission intent accomplishment and personal responsibility, then you allow that employee to then draw upon their full acumen of experience and skill.

What was your worst working experience?

Working construction in the middle of the winter. The hard work wasn't a problem it was the cold. I have lived most of my adult life in warmer climates and have just become accustomed to the sunshine.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

Have pride in your work, failure is "not" an option, take care of your supervisors and subordinates and they will take care of you, and tasks can and should be delegated but responsibility never should be, always be learning from those around you.

What unique skills do you have?

The ability to not just manage others but to effectively Lead others. A manager just bosses, but a leader inspires others to action. Superior attention to detail.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

Any job in the islands that just doesn't utilize my skills, experience, and education, but provides a challenge as well. A job that also provides me with opportunities to Lead a team in the accomplishment of both routine and complex missions.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

Providing excellent customer service, Growing company value, improving effectiveness and efficiency, Challenges, esprit-decor and commodore.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

Memorizing regulation manuals, I enjoy knowing but it's not an easy read.

Long term goal

Own and run my own business.
