Primary level teacher and or special needs teacher

European New Zealander

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

Vanuatu. I like the culture, people and location. I am interested to lern more about the country and other languages.

What countries have you worked in?

Teaching in New Zealand

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

Australia

What field do you currently work in?

Primary teacher

What fields have you worked in before?

teaching Special needs students, chef, law work.

What qualifications do you hold?

Bachelor of Education B.Ed.

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Both as valuable as each other. Formal education qualifications are valuable to ascertain the level at which one is academically educated. Skills may encompass a greater field of experience than an academic form qualification indicates.

Describe the benefits of working with others

Continued person growth through shared knowledge. Working together as a team ennsures accountability, greater opportunities to learn, shared responsibilities, company and collegiality.

Describe the benefits of working alone

Can design and follow your own timetable, change programme to suit individual requirements.

What was your worst working experience?

Picking pine tree seedlings in ice cold weather.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

You never know everything, you are learning everyday

What unique skills do you have?

Individual planning skills for teaching Singing theory and practise up to grade 5

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

Consulting in special education especilly involving family.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

challanges to teach a variety of learning styles

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

repeated paper work.
