| Questions: Important question about salary employee recieving overtime pay in Ve So for about 7 months now I have been a salary employee. A regular customers continues to tell me that my salary has to be a certain gross amount, and if it isnt, then I should be getting paid overtime. So I tried to do some internet searching and found 1 page that says that a salary employee has to make at least $455 per week to be exempt from getting overtime, however it isnt from the actual labor website and I want to make sure Im accurate before bringing it up to my employer. If this is true then I have lost ALOT of money, because I ALWAYS work over 40 hours, I actually work 51 this week and my salary is only $425 per week. Can anyone help me out with this? |
