Key Qualifications
The consultant team must have appropriate qualifications, good experience in operations or in providing consultant services in rural and micro-banking sector in the past, specifically:
* Sound knowledge and extensive experience in micro finance activities and best practices, preferably outside of Vietnam.
* Work experience developing a successful micro finance program within a larger commercial bank
* Extensive micro finance product development and market research experience, especially products suitable in rural areas.
* Micro finance program and financial monitoring and MIS experience
* Demonstrated experience in expanding micro finance outreach to the rural households and micro enterprises in rural areas.
* Working in similar project in a developing country
* Good understanding of banking environment in Vietnam and the Asian pacific region.
