Formal education or skills and why? in my experience, formal education is just a short time preparing for skills. Actual practice is to acquire skills. My female Philippino teacher once told us to just enjoy the student time, life out there would be very different. I see it is true, through doing i learn much more than what i had studied in school. Therefore, for me skills are more valuable than formal education.
