What type of job are you looking for?

I would like to look for a work related to an NGO

Vietnam

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

Vietnamese - Mother Tounge, English - good level

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

Vietnam, particularly Ho Chi Minh City - it is my profound desire to help the country, especially the unlucky ones.

Vietnam

What field do you currently work in?

Elementary Teacher

What qualifications do you hold?

Bachelor of Art Major in Linguistics, Bachelor of Education Major in Secondary Education

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

in my experience, formal education is just a short time preparing for skills. Actual practice is to acquire skills. My female Philippino teacher once told us to just enjoy the student time, life out there would be very different. I see it is true, through doing i learn much more than what i had studied in school. Therefore, for me skills are more valuable than formal education.

Describe the benefits of working with others

Working with others helps to develop flexibility, listening skill, team working, sharing attitude, updating information and skills and friendship.

Describe the benefits of working alone

Working alone allows oneself growing in independence, responsibility, daring, creativity and inner freedom

What was your worst working experience?

Carelessness leads to failure in managing students.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

Respectful and Listening

What unique skills do you have?

Accepting myself and others, yet always ready for challenges.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

to be in touch with people especially the needy and the poor, to be able to help and to use counseling skills.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

Interacting with students and parents

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

when i was asked to make the same lesson plans without allowing changes or newness.
