I believe that both are valuables but to teach English for preparatory education, teaching the necessary skills is very important. As teachers, we need to develop the foundation of the young children so that when they go to the higher level of education, they are prepared and ready to tackle more advanced tasks. On the other hand, teaching the formal education is also necessary because we are already in a quite competitive world and we need to prepare our learners so that they can compete in the highly competitive world. No one lives in an island.Hence we need the expertise of other people for us to be able to do and accomplish excellent jobs happily. Describe the benefits of working alone Well, working alone can sometimes be beneficial especially if you need to accomplish tasks that need careful planning. Working alone can sometimes lead you to think more critically and spontaneously than working with others. What was your worst working experience? As far as I could remember, the worst working experience I had was during my first year of teaching. We were asked to make a syllabus and the theories that I learned in my college years is far different when you do an actual job. I find it most difficult and probably the worst experience in my teaching experience. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? I come to realize that teaching is not only a profession but also a vocation. It is a call from God. When I was in college, I tried to do away with Education courses, however, after college years, I landed on a teaching job. This sounds funny but I greatly believe that teaching indeed is a calling from God that needs to be taken care of. What unique skills do you have? I can make lesson plans that will develop the learners whole personality. It means teaching values is already incorporated in the plan. I can also teach basic journalism and can be a school paper adviser. I have been the grade school paper adviser for almost ten years.
