I am posting this message here in the event any company, organization or individual comes looking for information on the existing Wide Area Network (WAN) or wireless infrastructure of the U.S. Virgin Islands.My background and present interests (8/1/07) inspired me to search of technology opportunities in less developed places such as the Virgin Islands in order to enter a market with growth potential. I do not know the present state of World Wide Web or Internet connectivity to the Virgin Islands, but I will be searching for information on that immediately.
While residing in northeastern Ohio many years ago I met a gentleman whose son worked for the cable television company in the Virgin Islands, and he suggested I consider working there also. At the time I had no idea what direction my future would go, but looking back some 22 years I wish I had gone!
