Hospitality-Hotel Director of Sales What fields have you worked in before? Property Management, Real Estate Sales, Restaurant Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Both! But if you want one answer it would have to be skills. Without skills you would have a hard time with everyday survival. Describe the benefits of working with others You learn. Everyone brings something unique to the work place. If you have an open mind and truly area team player, you will listen carefully and embrace that persons idea. It could be the answer you were looking for! Describe the benefits of working alone I can accomplish a lot uninterrupted. Also I learn alot by doing research and having to get creative. What was your worst working experience? Working for someone who was narrow minded, and not willing to listen to any of the team. So bad that it brought the moral of the work environment way down. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? People are valuable. It's important to make everyone feel good and important about their role with in the company. Because EVERYONE plays an important part of the success of the company as a whole! What unique skills do you have? The ability to motivate and build positive attitudes! I love working with people, and sales come naturally. I'm very passionate about my work and I use my creative side whenever I can. I am not above doing any job that needs immediate attention. I male decisions easily and love to have fun! What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Being successful working in Sales on a beautiful Island in a resort or hotel. Working with groups and corporate events. Having a part in assisting with planning and follow through. I would love to see everyone leave with a smile and can't wait to return! What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Meeting people! Learning, every day being different from the last! What are the least interesting aspects of your field?
