As a result of the financial crisis and the recent G20 meetings the International Monetary Fund is being transformed by three changes to our work;(i) four times more money available to lend (now $1 trillion)
(ii) new facilities designed to mirror the differing needs of our members' economies
(ii) fewer conditions attached to money after it has been lent therefore less oversight by the lending teams
All of this raises the profile of two areas within our Finance team which are staffed by accountants.
(i) Safeguard which monitors the work and effectiveness of Central Banks.
(ii)Enterprise Risk Management we perform on our own operations within the Fund.
Both areas are seeking qualified accountant (chartered, certified, management) with at least five years experience in either a major international company or an international audit firm.
If you have this and are curious about working for the IMF and are interested in talking more please send me a copy of your resume.
I apologise in advance that I am only able to respond to qualified candidates.
