| Questions: Help! What to do for a year waiting for RN school.? So here's my situation. I will soon have completed my DTA in nursing the Direct Transfer Agreement to transfer to a 4 year school then get my BSN. I had to retake my anatomy class so I won't finish until this summer. So basically I have a WHOLE YEAR to apply to BSN programs. I will be applying to like 5 across washington state. So I was thinking for that year should I 1.) Get a job save money and volunteer at a hospital on the side. ( Note: I already have over 100 hours of volunteer time at a multicare clinic) 2.) Complete a LPN program. 3.) Complete another program that takes a year like Dental Assistant or Pharmacy Technician for a backup career kinda thing. 4.) Complete a CNA class then work as a CNA during the year to get experience. 5.) Just apply to RN programs but not the BSN programs. I'm really undecided because I can't choose. Please help me choose with any advice you can I want whatever would be in my best interest. Thank you for all who respond! |
