| I think due to global crisis the reason why a lot of people lost jobs all over the world. So, I think the new battery business will be of a great help for a lot of people to land jobs. I hope it will be pushed through. Yes, I think the state needs recovery. I am absolutely impressed the way Obama handles his job. He has been hopeful to give more and more jobs for people. |
| "Give and Take"
Give a job to one person take jobs from others as the businesses that hire them can't afford them anymore. Why not let an actual free marketplace flourish? |
| Are there enough social programs in place to reeducate the workforce that has been making cars the last thirty years? This could spell doom for Michigan as areas outside of Detroit are already suffering high unemployment and poverty rates thanks to the near collapse of the auto industry. |
| General Electric' decision to start a battery business that would create at least 350 jobs in New York is certainly good news for the people there. I don't know why this leading power plant and locomotives producer suddenly wants to diversify but I'm sure they're doing it to strengthen the company. This should somehow improve the economy of New York. All states in the U.S. need all the jobs that they can get so the people there can get out of the rut that they are still in right now, no thanks to the global recession. |
| Hi there! I understand how devastating this can be most especially that almost everybody is affected by this global crisis. This is probably the reason why General motors leave Detroit. I know this has affected so many lives and my heart goes out for all of them. I hope that they can find the perfect job for all of them. Thank you so much and have a great day! |
