Banking What fields have you worked in before? No other field What qualifications do you hold? Business administration Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Both are valuable. Formal education without skills leaves one knowledge without ability. Skill gives the extra edge to deliver on your job. Describe the benefits of working with others Working with others gives you that extra knowledge and responsibilities can easily be shared - synergy Describe the benefits of working alone Working alone can give you the quietness and this can help one concentrate on their task. What was your worst working experience? My worst working experience has been my failure to submit reports on time and then only to be called back after hours to go and do the reports. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? I have learnt to manage my time and this has always left me with enough time for other tasks.I have learnt to prioritize tasks in order of urgency and importance. What unique skills do you have? My ability to listen and patiently attend to customers requirements on time.I have been able to defuse angry customers. This puts me afloat in customer facing enviroment. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Treasurer of a multi national financial institution. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Meeting new people on a daily basis is very interesting. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Banking jobs can be routine and this may take away the interesting aspect. Why did you chose this career? My passion for an excellent service delivery in the banking and financial industry made me chose this career. The other reason is my ability to be a good steward knowing that the finances i am managing are hard earned and must be made available on demand.
