Formal education or skills and why? I consider both to be essential because formal education provides a basis upon which skills can be established and developed hence both are complementary of each other. Describe the benefits of working with others Teamwork allows for the sharing of ideas, increased innovation, reduced wastage of resources such as time (taking into consideration that each team player is clearly aware of their stipulated roles. Working as a team aids as a morale booster since each individual can help to motivate and encourage the other in order to achieve set goals. Describe the benefits of working alone Allows the individual to think deeper because working with others may result in the individual relaxing and letting others do the work, provides ground for the individual to measure and assess personal progress and growth, prevents time wastage through unnecessary social or anti- business communication. What was your worst working experience? Working in situations were top management lacked enthusiasm and involvement in the operation and carrying out of some marketing tasks. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? It is critical for an organization to work as a whole, despite the existence of functional departments, in order to achieve the company's set goals. All tasks of an organization are synchronized and complementary thus no department is more superior than the other. What unique skills do you have? Marketing tends to suffer major budgetary setbacks when firms are facing financial difficulties.
