Within Zambia especially in Lusaka because I have had enough of rural experience, now I need to get experienced in the urban set up. What countries have you worked in? I have never worked in any other country apart from Zambia, But trained for almost a month in Namibia. (Regional disaster Management and response Training- RDRT under IFRC) What countries do you have a visa to work in? I do not have any What field do you currently work in? Currently am not working. What fields have you worked in before? Worked very much in the Water and Sanitation Programs for Refugees as well as for the Zambian Local community. I have worked in the Ministry of Health before on the preventive medicine What qualifications do you hold? Am a Holder of a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences ( Development Studies and Public Administration) I also have a Diploma in Health Sciences ( Environmental Health Technology) I also underwent through a lot of capacity building training workshops such as Regional Disaster Management Response Training, HIV/AIDS Counseling, Sphere Standards, Management of water supply and waste water systems, Participatory Hygiene and Sanitation Transformation ( PHAST) training and many more Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I consider education This is because Education sharpens one's thinking capacity to understand issues and learn faster. this brings about intellectual property regimes which have contributed to other organizations to hide their intellect over some products therefore making more profits by producing unique products. Education also helps one to bring about new innovations and inventions Education also helps one to mingle with others and gain new ideas which strengthen the organisation's capacity. Education Describe the benefits of working with others Working with others brings about exposer to what others did not know Working with others also helps to make the work easier because responsibilities can be shared and work is done faster, this brigs about specialization and improvement in the efficiency and effective production Describe the benefits of working alone One can decide when to do what, and how to do it The benefits of working alone are more on the negative such as One can overload oneself Getting new ideas becomes very difficult Work takes longer to be completed work or production is destined to disaster in-case of sickness there is no success in such, because a successful workers is seen by how many people he has trained to succeed him when he is not there. What was your worst working experience? When I wanted to carry out some programs and then disbursements of funds delay. the community if used the bottom up approach tend to think the program officer is the one delaying the work What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? For work to move smoothly every stakeholder must be carried on board so as to have them follow the program properly this would help them to know when they are supposed to come in and when they are not supposed to. Meetings are the best way of disseminating information What unique skills do you have? I learn faster, Am a people person and enjoy building capacity in others also to be able to do what I do. I don't look down on anyone among the stakeholders I treasure quality work What would you consider as your 'dream job'? To run programs, field work What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Most of the people where i go like confining in me, am very approachable by any class of people from top to the least in society, am a mother at heart What are the least interesting aspects of your field? I don't like where there is no peace, when there is an issue am better off we have a dialogue and continue to live in peace Would you like to work under close supervision?
