Zimbabwe, because that my home town and where my family lives. What countries have you worked in? I have never worked before because I finished college in August. What countries do you have a visa to work in? I dont have a visa What field do you currently work in? I am not yet working What fields have you worked in before? I have been a sales assistant but nothing in line with the environment yet What qualifications do you hold? I hold an honours degree in Applied Environmental Science Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Formal education is more valuable since it gives you the principles upon which any skill is based. Its better to have formal education then if need be, proceed to get the skills. Describe the benefits of working with others Working with other is the best since it promotes sharing of ideas and helping each other if need arises. Working with others is mostly beneficial if it is mul;tidisciplinary enabling a subject to be tackled from different angles thus giving a concrete solution. Describe the benefits of working alone Working alone is good for the sake of self development. It gives one the opportunity to test yourself as you encounter different circumsatnces and pressures from certain environments. Also, working alone removes the dependancy syndrome and makes one to be more self sufficient in terms of proffessionalism. What was your worst working experience? When I was a sales assistant and all my salary was devalued by inflation. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? It pays to be competent. What unique skills do you have? Public speaking, research projects and computer literacy. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Having a well paying job with significant benefits and incentives. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Researching and finding out new ways of enhancing development yet maintaining environmental quality. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Cleaning polluted areas especially where sewer systems burst.
