In Colchester, a town and the largest settlement within the borough of Colchester, in Essex, England they orient their students on different career field.
In an article by Ryan Blessing of Norwich Bulletin, Tyler Boozer of William J. Johnston Middle School said that he was surprised by the amount of study it takes to become a firefighter upon listening to West Hartford firefighter Lou Grinfield.
In conducting Career Day the student guidance counselor invites local professionals to go to school and talk to the students with regards to their particular field of work.
