Keynesian economics has almost always been the government's way of solving an economic crisis. Instead of cutting up on spending, the government would rather spend more on things like infrastructure development in the belief that investors will be more confident. Is there any basis for this notion, especially in the American setting today?
This article from CNN.com tries to answer that question, whether infrastructure stimulus will create more jobs or not. We'll see.
