The workplace lessons are all true, depending on your point of view, as most things in this world. There are false truths and true falsehoods, so to speak. But itīs the literary fantasy that counts, putting things in literary perspective.
By that means things come alive and make an impact. the pagans thought that there are "beings" floating behind the cracks in the woodwork, the "watchers" out there who, once in a while, incarnate in things that act on us. So our philosophical statements and moral values come into play against the dark background of the play we live and we rapidly walk into the second act.
