Kazer.ca is web site dedicated to help employers looking for part time jobs candidates to find the right candidate, an help poeple looking for part time jobs to find the job that fits with their schedule and needs.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
After many searches in search engines and directories, We did not find a good site with high quality that is fully dedicated to part time jobs. So, launching this site is a response to a real need for both employers and candidates.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
Our company is a new startup, we launched the website before registering the company in by october 2007.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
It is a combination of the first an last name of the man that first had the idea of this project.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
The difference between Kazer.ca and other web sites, is that it is fully dedicated to part time jobs, like that the user do not have to click on several links or typing keywords before having what they are looking for. An other difference is that Kazer.ca will be more and more adapted to the specific paticularities of a part time job site.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
For now, we are launching the site as a response to real need in the employement market. Both employers and candidates can use the site for free. Now we waiting to see what are the users expectations, like that we ensure that our plans match with our customers expectations.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
As the website is very recent, we are not yet on the stage of evaluation, but we are very optimistic about the success of the website because it is really a response for a real need.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
We would hire more developers to include more functionalities in the website.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Absolutely. Our primary focus was on that. And now the website is completely ready for keeping up with the demand.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
From the begining, we studied all the costs, so until now we had no unexpected headaches.
What has been your biggest challenge?
At this stage our bigest challenge is make poeple know about our site, but we are working on that.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
We are on the stage of promoting our website. Now we are submitting our site to directories and search engines.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It takes more time than expected to promote the website.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
A good website must be proactive and reactive to the users needs. So we don't consider that a web site can be in a final stage because our policy is to make always adaptive to the users.
