Are things improving in West Virginia?

Although the rate of unemployment is still quite high at 7.7% last month, West Virginina still remains well below the nationwide average. Recent new reports have also stated that the number of those out of work has decreased across 44 counties in West Virginia over the past month, most definitely a positive change.

Ohio gets grants for green industry

Promising news for Ohio today came in the form of two large grants as part of The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Apparently these grants have been given by the federal government in order to invest in new green jobs in that state.

Is Stumulus Money Creating Jobs In Kentucky?

As state's across the nation are starting to see the arrival of long promised federal funding, Kentucky is on the receiving end of $2.2 billion, and is using it to create or preserve jobs in many fields including education, health care and public safety. Governor Steve Beshear has said that education remains a top priority and without this funding cost cutting measures would have really been felt in classrooms across the state.

Will Idaho be the first to recover?

As many states struggle with rising unemployment, increasing debts and deteriorating economies, Idaho's situation seems much more positive in comparison.
