CharityEmployers.com exist with the vision of saving Canadian charities thousands of dollars in non profit recruitment advertising costs
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I have worked for a non profit, and at times it's very difficult to receive funds. So I have created this website to lower the cost of charities recruiting for new hire.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
I launched my first website back in 1998, that promotes work at home resources.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
It took me a while to come up with the name, but when the name came to mind I knew this was the right name. A name that fits what I am advertising, jobs from chairty employers.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
We cater to the funds of non profit organizations, we are not in this to make any large sums of money
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
I have two options in mind in the far future, I might sell or just continuing building this site for income.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
hmmmm, very good question. I think is a balance for my time with the growing success fo the site. So as the site grows, so would my success.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would advertise more on paying websites and search engines to attrack more visitors.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes, and I would hire more staff

Sending out promotional emails to potential

hmm I guess deciding on a pricing for my services
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Sending emails out to potential clients, I have gained some clients that way.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
I thought my site would have grown faster
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
I had the site for about 3 months, I am planning on keeping my site for the next 2 years.

Yes, I do enjoy the fact that I am helping these companies reach jobseekers.
