PACET CORP. Tokyo Japan(consutant for JICA in AJK for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of Muzaffarabad city

How long did you work there, and what was your position and responsibilities?

I worked as a Secreatary/Admin for 1 year. · The main work of the JICA Study Team was to make the Master Plane of Muzaffarabad city. In this connection they conducted different surveys and meetings with high officials of AJK.In the start of Master Plane I worked with a Japanese city planer for the survey of sewerage, drainage and water supply survey in Muzaffarabad city. · My second Assignment was to conduct the Damage Assessment Survey of Muzaffarabad city on satellite maps. JICA Study Team hired fourty surveyors and two engineers from Municipal Corporation Muzaffarabad.I was coordinating and supervising the team. · Attend Meetings with high official of AJK such as Chief Secretary, ERRA, SERRA, Administrator of Municipal Corporation, Chairman Development Authority and Secretary and Additional Secretary education Department. · Coordination between AJK Education Department and Japanese Education expert for the development of text about Disaster management education.

· Record keeping · Maintain office files · Official emails checking and sending · Operate photo copier machine · Sending and to receiving official faxes. · Attend meeting for taking notes of minutes for the meeting and maintain proper records of all meetings minutes. · Arrange appointments with Govt.Officials for Team Leader. · Respond to the calls and emails after consultation with the management. · Arrangement for Seminars · Hotel rooms reservation for office members. · Translate letters and other documents in simple English for Japanese Engineer.

Working directily with internaitonal organization. Strict Japanese rules.

Hard working and obey the seniors

The project was finished.

Not much problems they were very cooperative
