In short.Its like a self suicide to work as a doctor in maldives.No freedom.No insurence for ur life.Just 2 feet above sealevel.Worked there 5 months and ranaway.Dont spend and waste thro agents.Beware.

Dear friends.Never and ever try to work in maldives.As some of our friends mentioned earlier.There is no freedom.U will be isolated.People r not friendly.Many r narcotics.They disturb a lot.U have no protection.Many times docs have been assaulted.I worked 3 mths and resigned.Only quaks can work there.Feel pity on nurses and female docs in maldives.Better search gd civilized places.Take care.Be simple and try to be happy wat god has given.
